It has been weeks!.......What have we been up to? I think we caved to the February funk......killer colds, frigid wind chills.....

Tuesday was Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) now we do not celebrate from a Catholic Lenten point of view...Growing up in the UK Pancake day was just fun and yummy! It was years before I understood what it was really about! ......and the pancakes we made were nothing like the plump pancakes that we have for breakfast here in New England, they were a thin crepe-like pancake usually eaten with lemon and sugar and on a very lucky day a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
