More on Pancakes:
Zoe really LOVES pancakes.
On slower mornings she has been requesting to have breakfast at Elmers (the newest/well only) breakfast joint in Ashfield. We love going there! There is enough space for kids to play, and more often then not there is another small child wanting the play. The owner and waitstaff are especially small child friendly and soooo helpful, the coffee is good, they the background music great, the other morning Zoe said "mama I hear Tracy's fiddle!" it was indeed a Signature Sounds compilation CD featuring our friend Tracy Grammer! and Elmers has high speed internet...for your blogging needs!!
Our latest pancake read is

Valentines Morning
The Valentines Fairy visited last night and left us a treasure map (as well as a lot of snow- finally a snow day !!)
FIrst, Zoe found a little Wooden Tomtem (we have really been enjoying this book The Tomten)
Then some undies (you can never have enough!!)
Next was The Very Special Valentine Pictures by Maggie Kneen, a sweet, sweet book about a bunny looking for the perfect gift.
and finally this "Lolle Doll" by Kathe Krusse. I wish I had captured her face as she opened this one............pure joy.

Crafting

A Hit!!! Baking Soda/Corn Starch Clay very sticky at first (this is texturally a fun experience) and then becomes a great modelling clay as it cools. Dries hard. Easy to paint.
I go the recipe from TEXT
