Here it is a made by me ash bark basket with hickory lacing. It will come with instructions to add your own handles/strap. You can chose to make it a backpack or a shoulder strap or a wall basket. Use your favorite ribbon or webbing and it will become a favorite basket.
In the photo the basket looks a little lonely. It was so dark and dreary yesterday that I didn't get to photographing a few of the backpacks I have. Inside the basket you will also find a few surprizes!
If you are interested in winning this basket please leave me a note (in comments) telling me about your favorite holiday ornament. Although I have lived on a Christmas Tree farm for 8 years!! This is the first year we are getting a tree-the reason being we are usually away in Europe visiting my family for most of Dec. This year thankfully we have decided to stay home. I cannot tell you how happy this decision has made me! So yesterday I was talking to Z about our Solstice Tree......She said " I have a good idea mum lets make it a gnome home and woodland tree"
***UPDATE****
I forgot to mention that I will pick the winner on Dec 2nd!! Now you have it
Great idea Z! Now let me get planning!

Love the basket!
My favorite ornament is one that I made when I was four. It's a bell cut out of meat packing styrofoam, painted pink and absolutely covered in glitter. My mom took such care with it, and made sure that my special gift was safe and now I have it 28 years later. Every time I see it, it shows me the love and respect that my mom had for me and the tiny treasures that I created.
My favorite ornament is a small bird's nest with one slightly featherless bird and one sad little egg left. I am told it was my very first ornament which makes it about 32 years old at this point. I always relish taking it out and finding the perfect spot for it.
My fav ornament is a 1" plastic red apple. The year my father passed away (right before the holidays) she decorated our tree with these little apples. She never told me the reason she chose the apples, but I think it meant pertained to the stage of grief she was in.
Only one has remained the 17 years he's been gone. I hang this apple every year and think about my mother, my father and the mystique of the small apples.
My favorite ornament is a Lenox Nativity ornament. It's special to me because it reminds me of the reason that we celebrate the season.
God bless,
Tammy
My favorite ornament is a star made out of cinnamon sticks. Our fist solstice tree in our home was completely decorated in food - dried fruits, popcorn, pine cones, etc. and this is the one piece that avoided decomposition and still graces our tree each year.
Just found your blog - how wonderful! I'm starting studying herbs much more seriously these days. Anyway, my favorite ornament is a handblown mouse from Germany I got when I was three. He's so sweet and glittery, and he always gets the best spot on the tree - right up front, towards the top. Funny thing, he doesn't really look like a mouse. But I don't mind. We'll be spending our 33rd Christmas together this year!

One year when I was young we were given a box of crushed ornaments from the store my mom worked in. She brought them home and we repaired them the best we could. My favorite was the sad, footless, handless clown whose facial features I drew in with my mom's liquid eyeliner -- twenty six years ago! He still hangs on my tree every year.
My favorite ornament is a chickadee that my husband bought for me, knowing that they remind me of my late grandfather who taught me all about birds....
Beautiful basket!
My favourite Christmas ornament - I have several. A salt dough Christmas tree I painted in Kindergarten and also small picture frames - we get new ones every year to put pictures of my girls in. I love those!
Lovely blog! (we are also waldorf inspired homeschoolers). My favorite ornament is the one remaining ornament my grandma made while I was a child. She is no longer with us in the physical so each reminder of her is so special.
Wonderful! This basket sends me yearning for The Common Ground Country Fair.
When my nephew was born my partner and I made him into an angel! We cut out a favorite picture of his head, laminated it, made a small wooden "body" and then created a hand stitched white, golden, and blue angel robe. He even had wings and a halo!
A wonderful suprise and very funny to boot:)
